The sneakers feature canvas uppers and non slip rubber soles, inspired by US Naval issued footwear. They also feature vulcanised construction whereby the soles are bonded to the uppers through a firing process via a kiln. There are only two factories in Japan that offer this service, both based in Kurume. Combining
